By “In-Plant logistics” means as the range of logistics services those required to move the raw materials or finished products within the Plant in order to carry out the Plant Operation. These includes Storage & Handling of raw material; Supply of raw material from storage area to production line; Storage & handling of finished products.

-Handling/ Loading of finished goods Zinc Ingots.
-Handling/Loading of Cathode Sheets.
-Drain Cleaning, sludge handling and disposal with help of sludge Handling Truck mounted machine to designated area.
-Shifting of chemicals from store to Plant Site.
-Transportation of various cakes e.g lead silver residue /jarofix/jerosite/ cobalt/ cadmium through leak proof dumpers, to designated SLF.
-Shifting of Zinc sheets from Cathode Bundle transfer system to cathode storage yard.
-Loading, shifting & unloading of Anode scrap from Plant to store.
-Collecting, Lifting & transportation of Gypsum Cake/sludge to SLF.
-Ingot handling/ Spillages collection and transport to designated area.
STERLITE COPPER, VEDANTA LIMITED, TAMIL NADU
-Retrieval of copper bearing material in Smelter Plant.
-Collection of dust in the copper Smelter and transport to dumping area/designated area.
-Collection of dust in Rock Phosphate area and transport to dumper area/ designated area.
-Gypsum collection & transportation from Gypsum Chute to Gypsum port on round the clock basis.
-Gypsum collection and transportation from Gypsum conveyor to the Gypsum Pond on round-the-clock basis.
-Gypsum heaping in Gypsum pond.
-Transport of Slay, Reverts to respective yards on round-the-clock basis.
